Accreditation

Activity Overview

Ophthalmology 360® Virtual Summit Series will occur as a virtual experience from March 17-18, 2022. A Q&A session with the faculty will follow each live streamed presentation. Please review the credit designation statements to ensure the activity provides your credit type.

To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must attend the full activity and submit a completed evaluation form. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 60 days of the virtual conference will receive immediate documentation of credit.

On Demand Information
This enduring material will be available for 1 year following the virtual conference. Participants are not eligible to receive credit for any part of this enduring material already claimed as part of the live event.

Learning Objectives

After attending Ophthalmology 360® Virtual Summit Series, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the latest clinical research in ophthalmology, including the impact of recent trials and emerging therapies on patient care
  • Describe the best approaches to diagnosis, treatment selection, and ongoing management of varied ophthalmologic issues
  • Discuss advances and new techniques in ophthalmic surgery and medical treatment of eye diseases
  • Implement the latest methods and data into clinical practice for the improved care of patients with ocular disorders and diseases

Intended Learners

This educational activity is designed for ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other allied health care professionals involved in the management of patients with ocular disorders and diseases.

How to Claim Credit

Click on the Claim Credit button found on the virtual platform under the Accreditation menu in the top navigation.

Please choose Create Account and enter your personal details including your email address. An Access Key (password) will be emailed to you. Please use this to login under the "Already a User?" section.

Once logged in, follow the steps below.

1. Complete the evaluations for the sessions that you participated in both during the live broadcast dates of March 17-18, 2022, and on-demand at your convenience. 
   - Credit can only be claimed for either live or on-demand for each session

 

2. Complete the Conference General Survey to unlock your certificate.

3. Select the type of credit certificate that you need from the drop-down list (CME, CNE, etc). 

4. Download/Print your certificate of credit. If you require multiple certificates, repeat step 3. Keep your certificate of credit for your records. You will not receive another by mail.

You can complete your evaluations as you complete each session, but we suggest that you do not request your certificate until all session evaluations are complete. The certificate will provide a transcript of all sessions completed and credits earned. 

Once the on-demand sessions are available, you will be required to download two certificates: one for sessions and evaluations completed during the live conference, and one for sessions and evaluations completed during the on-demand period.


Evaluations are available beginning 15 minutes before a session concludes.

NOTE: You may claim credit for the live broadcast until May 18, 2022. After this date, only on-demand credit will be available. On-demand credit will be available for 60 days after the expiration of your access to the on-demand content.

Grievance Statement

Any participant wanting to file a grievance with respect to any aspect of a continuing education activity accredited by HMP Education may contact Samantha Conforti, Manager, Accreditation and Compliance, by phone at 609.630.6208, by email at sconforti@naccme.com, or in writing at 104 Windsor Center Drive, East Windsor, NJ 08520. The Manager, Accreditation and Compliance will review the grievance and respond within 30 days of receiving the complaint. If the participant is unsatisfied with the response, an appeal to the Associate Director, Accreditation and Compliance, Greaton Sellers, can be requested for a second level of review.
